Here They Come — Spring Migration
Spring migration is an exciting time for birders as many of our shorebirds, warblers, and waterfowl get ready for their breeding season and now are heading north. Many of these birds fly from South and Central America to the northern parts of North America and the Arctic to have their young, and are now passing through our state. New Jersey is situated on the Atlantic Flyway, where many of these birds come to feed after crossing the Delaware Bay.
